1 Introduction

By using this website and purchasing products from Mallow Motor Factors Ltd, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2 Ordering & Pricing

• All prices are shown in Euro (€) and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders if a product was listed incorrectly.

3 Delivery & Trade Service

• Garage Delivery: Our dedicated van delivery service is available to trade customers within our designated catchment areas (Mallow, Mitchelstown, Cork City, and Charleville).
• Standard Shipping: For online orders, delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

4 Returns & Refunds

• Change of Mind: In accordance with Irish consumer law, online customers have 14 days to return unused items in their original, undamaged packaging.
• Faulty Goods: Items found to be defective are subject to manufacturer warranties and inspections.
• Electrical Items: Please note that certain electrical components may be non-returnable once fitted or if the security seal is broken.

5 Core Charges

Certain parts (such as alternators or calipers) may carry a "Core Charge." This deposit is fully refundable once your old unit is returned to us in a rebuildable condition.

6 Limitation of Liability & The Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980

In accordance with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980, Mallow Motor Factors Ltd ensures that all products supplied are of merchantable quality and fit for their intended purpose. However, our liability is strictly limited to the replacement or refund of the specific component supplied.

• Installation Liability: Because the safety and performance of automotive parts are entirely dependent on correct installation, liability for the fitment and any resulting consequences falls solely on the fitter of the product. The Act's provisions regarding "fit for purpose" are contingent upon the part being installed correctly by a competent person.
• Labour & Consequential Loss: Mallow Motor Factors Ltd shall not be held liable for any labour costs, recovery fees, or consequential loss (financial or otherwise) arising from the failure of a part, whether due to a manufacturing defect or improper installation.
• Expert Verification: We strongly recommend that all components are installed by a qualified professional. Any warranty claim submitted must be accompanied by a professional diagnostic report and proof of expert installation.
